A recursive object - shell structures inside of shell structures like a Russian doll ( Wikipedia calls them matryoshka dolls). Another pseudo 3d graphic from Fractint, a 2d program. I cannot help but acknowledge the ingenuity of Fractint's programmers and formula writers.

Lotsa Converging Arms...

This fractal (from Fractint's built in mandphoenixclx formula) has an interesting feature. While arms converging to a point in an enclosed lake are common enough two of the arms (look at the upper right) converge not to a point but to a lobe, and from this lobe two arms extend to a point with other  arms . Reminds me of my uncle Ralph who said " 2.718... is the new 3.141...". - Max Iter

Persistence of Memory - Salvador Dali, 1931

I call this fractal "Persistence of Iteration". It's melting shape reminded me of Salvador Dali's surreal style painting "Persistence of Memory". - Max Iter
